I was one of twenty designers selected to take part in the Young Design Generation at Lisbon Design Week 2025, in partnership with MUDE – Museum of Design and Fashion.
I participated with the Cobogó Mucuri, a project born from the intersection of memory, technique, and matter, a piece that represents not only a product, but a way of understanding design as an act of care and awareness.
The Cobogó Mucuri emerged from my research at the University of Porto, developed in collaboration with TCC Whitestone, where I explore the potential of marble waste. Through this work, I seek to transform what was once discarded into a constructive and poetic element, a modular block that filters light, allows air to pass, and redraws space through shadow.
Exhibiting this piece at Lisbon Design Week was a significant milestone in my journey between Brazil and Portugal.
Seeing the Cobogó Mucuri among other works by emerging European designers strengthened my belief that design can be an agent of ecological and cultural regeneration, merging technique, sensitivity, and responsibility.
