Blown glass in collaboration with CENCAL – Marinha Grande, Portugal.
The Antúrios vase and the Catch-all Tray emerge from the encounter between human breath and matter in fusion. Crafted through hand-blown glass, these pieces reveal the delicacy and strength of a gesture that shapes air, the breath that becomes form.
The Antúrios vase draws inspiration from the tropical flower that lends it its name: a symbol of elegance and resilience that seems to bloom from within the molten glass itself. Its soft curves echo the organic movement of petals and stems, creating a dialogue between the natural and the constructed, between what grows and what is made.
The Catch-all Tray complements the vase as a small altar for everyday rituals, a space to release what we carry and to lighten the gestures of the day. More than a vessel, it is an invitation to pause and contemplate.
Developed in collaboration with CENCAL, the Portuguese Center for Ceramic and Glass Crafts, this project deepens the exploration of glass as a living material, capable of capturing an instant and preserving movement. Each piece is unique, the result of a conversation between craftsman and designer, between traditional technique and contemporary vision.
With Antúrios and Catch-all Tray, glass ceases to be mere transparency: it becomes body, gesture, and memory.
