Centuries later, Merleau-Ponty reminded us that light is not only external; it shapes our perception, defines the contours of what we call reality, and awakens intimate sensations within every body that experiences it.

It is in this dialogue that Lamparina is born not as a mere lighting object, but as a mediator between matter and spirit. The green-toned STONESIS, dense and refined, becomes a vessel for the passage of light which, as it crosses the carved voids, casts living orange shadows that reveal space in a new way.

In the psychology of color and light, orange symbolizes energy, creativity, and human warmth. It acts on the threshold between reason and emotion, evoking both the ancestral flame of oil lamps and the vitality needed to imagine more sustainable futures.

Developed for MAAMI Home, the Flamma Lamparina is a luminaire that unites technology, sustainability, and concept in a single object. More than illuminating, it carries a narrative of transformation what was once discarded returns as a piece of contemporary design.

Produced in STONESIS, an innovative material created at TCC Whitestone, the Lamparina incorporates 75% marble waste in its composition. This gesture not only reduces environmental impact but also demonstrates how circular design can give rise to high-quality products combining strength, refined aesthetics, and deep symbolic value.

The project also celebrates the craftsmanship of Portuguese artisans, merging manual tradition with technological innovation. Every detail of the piece expresses a conscious thought: from waste to object, from stone to powder, from matter to light.

Thus, the Lamparina balances strength and delicacy, capable of transforming not only the physical space but also the sensory and emotional perception of those who experience it.
